Spa Etiquette

Q: Is a credit card required to book an appointment?
Yes. So that we may best schedule all appointments, we require a credit card to book your appointment.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid a cancellation fee. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, a 100% charge for the service(s) will apply.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We will also accept personal checks with proper identification. A $50 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Q: Is parking available?
Metered parking is available on streets around the spa, however, you should make careful note of street signs when parking at a meter. There are also several parking garages within walking distance of the spa.

Q: Should I bring anything particular to my appointment? Will I need to undress?
If you are scheduled for a pedicure, we suggest you bring open-toed sandals or flip-flops. If you are having a body scrub or wrap treatment, you may wish to bring a two-piece bathing suit, although paper underwear is always provided for you. For other services such as massage, we will provide you with a robe and slippers. Many clients choose to disrobe completely prior to their service, however you should undress to your comfort level. Our staff will ensure that your privacy is respected at all times.

Q: I have an appointment for a waxing service. What should I do prior to arrival?
Please allow at least ¼ inch of hair growth prior to your appointment. Please advise us if you are using Retin-A, Retinol, Differin, Accutane, alpha hydroxy, or Antibiotics products prior to any waxing service. Sun exposure before or immediately after is not recommended; do not exercise immediately before or after.

Q: Do I need to request a specific facial when booking – I have never had one before?
No, your esthetician will talk with you, look at your skin and advise you which facial treatment would be most beneficial for you.

Q: What if I have a medical condition?
If you are pregnant or have a medical condition such as high blood pressure, allergies, or any physical illness or disability, it is your responsibility to seek the advice of a medical professional prior to receiving any spa treatments. Please advise your service provider if you require any special accommodations.

Q: Are Gift Cards available for purchase?
Yes, Gift Cards may be purchased for any service and/or amount, and are valid for one year from purchase.

Q: I received a Gift Card for one service, but I’d like to redeem it for a different service. Is that possible?
Absolutely. You may also use it for retail products in our store.

Q: Are group bookings available?
We are fairly small and group bookings are hard, but we can accommodate parties of up to four depending on services requested.

Q: May I schedule more than one appointment at a time?
Yes, we are happy to schedule standing appointments for any of our services, whether it’s for a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visit.

Q: I wish to leave my service provider a tip. What is the customary amount?
A 15-20% gratuity is customary; however, please feel free to leave more or less, depending on your experience with us.
